Why this meeting?
Thirty-five years ago, the apostolic constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae reminded us that university pastoral ministry is at the heart of the mission of Catholic universities.
Today more than ever, strengthening this spiritual and community dimension is essential to integration faith and academic life and promoting a university that educates based on truth, justice, and fraternity
Objectives
To create an international academic space for dialogue between university pastoral ministries from different continents, with the aim of:
- Reflecting on the social, cultural, and religious challenges facing our university communities;
- Share experiences and good pastoral practices;
- Strengthen the Catholic identity in FIUC member universities.
