The meeting of the Executive Board of the Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) was held last February 8, 2019 at Sogang University in Seoul, Korea. The members of the Executive Board who attended the meeting included Rev. Fr. Herminio V. Dagohoy, O.P., Executive Secretary of ASEACCU and Rector of the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines, Dr. Peta Sanderson, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Notre Dame University, Australia, Dr. Kuncoro Foe, Rector of Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya, Indonesia, Rev. Fr. Luke Jongchul Won, President of the Catholic University of Korea, Rev. Fr. Jong Gou Park, S.J., President of Sogang University, South Korea, Mr. Glen Chatelier, Director of the Office of International Relations, Assumption University, Thailand, and Mr. John Luis Lagdameo, Director of the Office of International Relations, Ateneo de Manila University. The discussion centered on the 2019 ASEACCU International Conference which will be held at Sogang University on August 19-23, 2019. The theme for this year’s conference is Reconciliation and the Situation in the East Asian Region. The Student Program will be from August 19-23, 2019 while the Faculty program will start on the afternoon of the 20^th and will end on the 23^rd. A lecture-workshop for directors of international relations as well as faculty members involved in internationalization activities will be held on August 20, 2019.
