USJ formalises cooperation agreement initiated during the latest ASEACCU Conference
The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) has officially signed a cooperation agreement that traces its origins to the most recent ASEACCU Conference in Taiwan, where initial discussions opened the door to deeper academic collaboration. Building on the momentum created during those exchanges, the agreement now establishes a clear framework for joint initiatives that reflect the shared educational values promoted by the ASEACCU network.
During the signing, Prof. Álvaro Barbosa, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation and Academic Affairs of USJ, and Professor Tatsuya Yamamoto, President of Seisen Women’s University, reaffirmed the alignment of their institutional missions and expressed confidence in the collaborative opportunities emerging from this partnership. Both highlighted the role of ASEACCU as an essential platform for fostering dialogue, strengthening ties among Catholic universities, and encouraging joint educational initiatives.
By formalising this cooperation, USJ reinforces its active role within ASEACCU and its commitment to nurturing partnerships that foster international learning and community enrichment. With this agreement, USJ continues to foster high-quality partnerships that enhance its educational mission and contribute to the network of Catholic universities across Asia.
