Isabel Capeloa Gil <\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/header>
President of the IFCU, Rector, Catholic University of Portugal<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>

Isabel Maria De Oliveira Capeloa Gil is the Rector of the <\/span>Catholic University of Portugal (UCP)and president of UCP <\/span>Foundation since 2016. In 2018 she was elected President <\/span>of the International Federation of Catholic Universities <\/span>(IFCU). <\/span>Prof. Gil is a Full Professor of German and Culture <\/span>Studies at UCP\u2019s School of Human Sciences. <\/span>Pope Francis appointed\u00a0<\/span>her to serve in the Scientific Council of the Holy See\u2019s <\/span>Higher Education Accreditation Agency (AVEPRO), and as <\/span>consultant for the Holy See\u2019s Congregation for Catholic <\/span>Education. <\/span>\u00a0Prof. Gil holds honorary doctorates from Boston College, as well as from the Australian Catholic University and ICP, in Paris. She was listed in 2023 by Forbes as one of the most influential women over 50.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Lucia Shih-Ling Lin<\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/header>
President, Providence University<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>

President Lucia Lin earned her Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Florida State University and has extensive experience in educational administration. Throughout her leadership, President Lin upholds the values of kindness and justice exemplified by the founders of the Sisters of Providence from the USA and embodies the spirit of \u201clove and service in all things.\u201d She firmly believes that through education and community service, with a focus on research and outreach, servant leadership, and life education, the university can achieve the principle of \u201cthe more local, the more international; the more remote, the more technological.\u201d President Lin is determined to continue strengthening the foundation of Providence University, connecting with the world, and building a happy campus through servant leadership.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Professor Zlatko Skrbis is the Vice-Chancellor and President of Australian Catholic University. He is also President of the Strategic Alliance of Catholic Research Universities (SACRU). Professor Skrbis holds a PhD in sociology from Flinders University and maintains a distinguished research profile. As Vice-Chancellor, he is working to ensure that ACU is globally recognised as an institution that adheres to its strong Catholic identity and improves the lives of others through excellence in education, research, and service.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Francis Yi-Chen Lan<\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/header>
President, Fu Jen Catholic University\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>

Prof. Francis Yi-Chen Lan is the eighth President of Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan. <\/span>After obtaining the PhD from Western Sydney University in 2004, he started a brilliant career <\/span>as a professor and administrator at the same university. Important positions he held include, <\/span>Professor of Information Management, Associate Dean of the School of Business, Pro Vice Chancellor, Global Development, and Provost of the Vietnam Campus of Western Sydney <\/span>University in Australia.<\/span> In 2019, Prof. Lan received a special <\/span>achievement award for exceptional contributions to global higher education institute <\/span>partnerships development <\/span>Furthermore, and a special achievement award for <\/span>contributions to Australia-Taiwan Education Partnerships from<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the Australian Government.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Tetsuo Morishita is a professor of law, Sophia University, Tokyo Japan, where he teaches international business law, banking & finance law and negotiation. B.A. in Law, University of Tokyo (1989), M.A. in Law, University of Tokyo (1994). He formerly worked for The Sumitomo Bank, Limited (Japan) from 1989 to 1999. He has served on various governmental committees at the Financial Services Agency and the Ministry of Justice of Japan. He has been the Vice President of Global Academic Affairs at Sophia University since April 2021. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Assistant Professor, University of Saint Joseph Macao<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>

Prof. Helen Liu is an assistant professor at the University of Saint Joseph, Faculty of Health Sciences. She is currently the Research Coordinator in her faculty and the programme leader of the Prison Outreach Programme. She is a researcher-practitioner in social work and an associate affiliate of China Center for Social Policy Columbia University School of Social Work in New York City. She serves as an Academic Consultant in the committee of Family Education Group of the Macao Catholic Family Advisory Council. <\/span>Prof. Helen\u2019s work has been published in journals, including <\/span>Child & Family Social Work, Asian Social Work and Policy Review, China Journal of Social Work. <\/span><\/i>She has presented at international conferences and symposiums and was an invited speaker for routable meetings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jen Azordegan<\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/header>
Manager for Community-Engaged Learning, Australian Catholic University\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>

Dr Jen Azordegan \u00a0is Manager for Community-Engaged Learning at Australian Catholic University. She leads a multi-campus team dedicated to supporting community-engaged learning across all multiple disciplines. She joined ACU in 2019 with over a decade of experience in teaching, research and project roles in Australian higher education, primarily in the area of teacher education and preparing teachers for diverse classrooms. She previously served as an education policy researcher and advisor to state governments in the US. Dr Azordegan has been involved with the internationalisation of the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification since 2019, leading ACU\u2019s involvement in the pilot of the Classification in Australia and its ultimately successful submission in the 2023 inaugural classification cycle in Australia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Executive Assistant to the President, Saint Louis University<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>

Dr. Joselito C. Gutierrez from Saint Louis University, Baguio City, Philippines, is the Regional Program Coordinator of the Private Education Assistance Committee and a member of the National Basic Education Commission of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines National Secretariat. <\/span>As the Regional Secretary of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines-Cordillera Administrative Region, he coordinates the promotion of Justice and Peace, Ecological Integrity, Engaged Citizenship, Poverty Alleviation, Gender Equality, Youth Empowerment, and Media Education. He serves as the Officer-in-Charge of the Sustainable Development Goals and Laudato Si Center of Saint Louis University.\u00a0<\/span>He was conferred as the Catholic Schools Heroes\u00a0 Awardee for 2022 by the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
